Professional spindle reconditioning step by step
1. dinagostics and disassembly
The technician inspects the spindle from every technical aspect by analyzing the various components. He diagnoses and checks radial and axial shaft runout, taper runout, geometry, bearing heating, cooling system leakage, lubrication system efficiency.
2. cleaning and inspection
The electrospindle that has gone into service is thoroughly cleaned. Each component is precisely checked. We remove rust, dirt, filings that have no right to be in the spindle. We perfectly wash every part of the spindle.
3. precise measurements of all components and cone regeneration
Spindle service performs accurate measurements of old bearings, shaft tolerances, moving parts, bearing seats and more. It performs taper grinding and reconditioning of the tool engagement mechanism.
4. replacement of bearings and required components
A mechanical engineer installs new bearings by following the manufacturer's strict specifications and parameters. He pays special attention to establishing bearing preload and matching tolerances.
5. assembly of individual parts
All spindle components are reassembled. Each component is thoroughly inspected and tested in every phase of assembly.
6. residual balancing in the 0.4G to 1.5G class
Spindle balancing is a special issue in the final phase of spindle repair. It is the quality of balancing that determines the success of the overall reconditioning. At this stage, the balancer analyzes and captures vibrations based on accurate FFT measurement data. The mechanical engineer, based on the reading, adds or removes the appropriate given weight.
